Twin County United Way invites local non-profit organizations to participate in their Annual Day of Caring, on June 17, 2011, which is a community mobilization of local volunteers. The goal of our Day of Caring is to send out volunteer teams on meaningful, hands-on community projects to assist local agencies with various needs. It provides community members with a first-hand look at the services provided by agencies. This helps to raise awareness of our local agencies and promotes the spirit of caring throughout the year.

Applications are now being accepted for projects for our Day of Caring event. All organizations are invited to submit project applications.  Applications are available on our website www.tcuw.org/dayofcaring.html, at the Twin County United Way office (2207 E Main Street, Lewiston) or by calling 743.6594.  Project Applications are due by June 1, 2011. Please mail to 2207 E Main Street, Lewiston or fax to 208.743.7004.

Team Registrations are now being accepted from businesses and employees interested in volunteering for our Day of Caring event. Team Registration forms are available on our website www.tcuw.org/dayofcaring.html, at the Twin County United Way office (2207 E Main Street, Lewiston) or by calling 208.743.6594.  Team Registration forms are due by June 1, 2011. Please mail to 2207 E Main Street, Lewiston or fax to 208.743.7004.
