Twin County United Way (TCUW) is proud to announce the Annual Banquet Celebration to complete the 2011 Annual Campaign. The Celebration is sponsored by Inland Cellular & Potlatch No. 1 Federal Credit Union. The Annual Banquet will take place at the Red Lion Hotel (Port 4) on Thursday June 16th from noon-1 p.m.
Twin County United Way will recognize volunteers who have committed time and energy over the past year to build a strong campaign. Outgoing officers include:
Bert Sahlberg of Lewis Clark State College, Board President
Tony Mastroberardino of Inland Cellular, 2010 Campaign Chair
Chris Loseth of Potlatch No.1 Federal Credit Union, Honorary Campaign Chair
Incoming leadership positions will be held by:
Seyra Lawrence of Regence BlueShield of Idaho, Board President
Tim Barker of the City of Lewiston, 2011 Campaign Chair
2011 Honorary Campaign Chair will be announced in September
Many companies held volunteer & fundraising campaigns including Clearwater Paper who ended up with a campaign total of $193,539.50. Other impressive businesses include St. Joseph Regional Medical Center raising $98,989.51 & ATK CCI Speer employees who raised $53,566.39 to support local programs.
Each year, TCUW donors have the option to designate their donations to one specific organization, or they can support the “Community Impact Fund” which goes to local programs that focus on the top outcomes in areas of Education, Income, and Health, as identified by the community. Once again, TCUW is proud to have a group of corporate champions to fund administrative costs so donors can know that more of their donation goes directly to these local programs. Current corporate champions include Clearwater Paper, St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Joe Hall Ford, Mick McClure Honda, Inland Cellular, Presnell Gage, PLLC, Idaho Beverages, Avista Utilities, Blue Ribbon Linen Supply, Ida-Vend Broadcasting, Idaho Truck Sales, Lewiston Tribune, and Potlatch No.1 Federal Credit Union.
Recognition awards will be announced at the Annual Banquet for the Rookie Board Member of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and Spirit of Caring Awards to local businesses.
