Partner Programs
Twin County United Way assesses the needs
of the community every five years through a comprehensive
needs assessment and focus groups. TCUW then
identifies the most pressing needs in our community in
Education, Income, and Health. We focus on these
categories because they are the building blocks to a quality
life. TCUW partners through many local collaborations
to provide solutions to the community’s most pressing needs.
Local nonprofit organizations are also invited to apply for
funding if they have a program that provides a solution to
meet one of these needs. This is done through a
competitive grant process every two years. Programs
are evaluated and must provide measurable results towards
meeting the community’s needs.
